Slack
Slack is a messaging app that more and more companies are using to enable teams to communicate with each other. With i-Reserve, an integration can be set up. For example, every time a reservation comes in or a change is made, this can be reflected in Slack.
Your Slack connected to i-Reserve
An automated workflow is possible between i-Reserve and Slack. All kinds of use cases are conceivable. You normally use Slack for communication within your team. It is easy to imagine wanting to post a message when certain events occur. This could be when a reservation is placed, modified, a customer is created, or when a customer or company changes status. These events are called triggers. When a trigger occurs, the associated data is sent to Slack. Here you can build in IF-THEN conditions. In some cases you may want a message, in others you may not. In the message itself, you can then use all available fields to compose a clear notification.
An example:

What data is exchanged?
To ensure both systems work well together, they exchange data. You can see which data is sent in the table below.
It should be noted that Slack does not store this data in its basic form (in a structured way). A message is composed based on fields that are assembled together. It is important here to pay attention to privacy-sensitive data.
