Automate the reservation process and free up time for the things you enjoy

In i-Reserve, several types of integration are possible: API integrations, import/export integrations, and integrations via an integration platform such as MS Flow or Zapier. We have a number of native integrations that are already included as standard in i-Reserve and simply need to be configured. Integrations make your reservation system even more complete and take even more work off your hands. Using a webhook, you can trigger so-called actions to connect reservations, tasks, or customers with hundreds of other applications — think calendar management, accounting, and even remotely unlocking doors. With integrations, the possibilities are virtually endless. In this blog, we elaborate on a number of these possibilities.

Let your customers book and pay themselves

Save time and let your customers make their own reservations online with the Online Booking module. You decide which booking interface you want to use: an appointment calendar, a schedule, or a step further: our advanced search & book function/interface. Let your customer choose a date and book from there. Of course, you can ensure that customers cannot book on public holidays, and you can set opening times depending on the day and/or season. In the i-Reserve reservation system, customers can easily view availability and open slots themselves. Let customers search and filter for available meeting rooms, appointments, guided tours, and more within the booking module. You can filter by product type (from boat hire to meeting room), number of people, location, or date. View and try out the various options in our demos.

Pay instantly

Would you like customers to pay immediately after making a reservation? Connect i-Reserve to a payment provider via the Online Payment module. A payment provider or Payment Service Provider (PSP) is a third party that handles online payments such as iDeal, Bancontact, PayPal, or VISA. Connect your reservation system directly to a payment provider of your choice. With the i-Reserve 'Online Payment' module, you have the option to connect the leading payment providers such as Buckaroo, Mollie, or Stripe to your booking system. All reservations directly in your calendar

A reservation is time-dependent. Your customer books a date and often a time as well. You can of course see the booking in your calendar within our reservation system. But would you also like reservations to appear automatically in your Google or Outlook calendar? No problem with a calendar integration from i-Reserve. The booking will then immediately appear in your own calendar — on your phone if you wish, always to hand. You can see availability in real time. If you hire out rooms, have all rooms appear in your calendar so your schedule is always with you, even on the go. You never need to worry about double bookings or forgetting an important appointment.

What's more, with i-Reserve you can add appointments to someone's calendar even without that person being registered as an administrator in i-Reserve. For example, a trainer who delivers courses, a reception desk at a venue that hires out rooms, or a trainer who wants to see all their courses in their calendar so they can access them on their mobile.

It is also possible to configure calendar integrations bi-directionally. This means that items or data can also be sent to the i-Reserve reservation system. For example, a facilities department could manage rooms in Google Calendar, which would then be automatically synchronised with the reservation calendar. Your i-Reserve invoices automatically in your accounting system

With the import/export integrations from the Invoice and Export modules, you can integrate your i-Reserve environment with your accounting system, such as Visma Cash or Exact. Set up a connection with your accounting package and export invoices, or use them to transfer financial data into the accounting package.

Accounting integrations are one-way integrations, meaning they synchronise data in one direction only — for example, from the reservation system to the accounting package. Invoices are often used to transfer financial data into the accounting package. However, reservations can also be used to transfer (financial) data to the accounting package. In the most common setup, the debtor along with financial data is periodically entered into the accounting package. Read more about this on our dedicated integrations page.

All updates directly in Slack

Let i-Reserve do even more for you. It is also possible to integrate with Slack, the messaging app for teams. For example, every time a reservation comes in or a change is made, this can be reflected in Slack, making collaboration that much easier. Read more about this on our dedicated integrations page.

Remotely unlock doors for customers

The integration of i-Reserve with access control systems makes it possible to automatically grant access to individuals who have made a reservation. Particularly in combination with a payment system, this enables powerful solutions to be realised.

Would you like the door to a meeting room to open for a specific customer five or ten minutes before the meeting?
Would you like to give the customer a code to open the door to a squash court at the time of their reservation?
Or perhaps the code to a locker containing a key and any other items they may need?

There are countless possibilities to consider: for hotels, self-catering accommodation, conference centres, sports halls, and private clubs. The options surrounding door and access control with our reservation system are extensive.
