A new environment to allow customers to make their own reservations and optimize the billing process

About the organization
The Fluxus is a center for the arts where spaces can be reserved by different types of tenants.

The challenge:
i-Reserve for several years , but had several wishes to improve its reservation processes. The decision was made to build a new i-Reserve environment from the ground up based on these wishes. Central to this was the transition to customer-driven reservations and optimizing the billing process.

i-Reserve in practice:
To accommodate the different types of Fluxus tenants, multiple user profiles were set up. These user profiles can adjust the reservation rate. We also created lists of rooms that are dynamically updated based on the user profiles. Furthermore, we redesigned the billing process to maximize automation. Besides setting up the i-Reserve environment, we also supported Fluxus in implementing the new environment and introducing it to customers.

The result:
The reservation process has become significantly less time-consuming now that customers can make their own reservations. The invoicing process has also become less time-consuming after the introduction of automation. By working closely with Fluxus to set up the new environment, we were able to tailor it to their processes. As a result, the i-Reserve environment better meets their needs.

The reservation process is now running smoothly; the fact that customers make their own reservations makes a huge difference. The new billing process makes this process much faster than before.
