Is it possible to use the reservation system in multiple languages?

You can use i-Reserve in multiple languages. Texts in i-Reserve are displayed in the language of your choice. The control panel is currently available in English, German, and Dutch.

Visitors can book in English, Dutch, German, Spanish, or French. You can also configure additional languages.

Do my customers need to log in before they can book?

There are 4 options regarding the use of customer accounts.

  • do not create a user account
  • always create a user account
  • i-Reserve automatically creates a username and password
  • Customer has the option to create an account but is not required to do so

Whether a customer needs to log in has advantages and disadvantages. When a customer does need to log in, the advantage for you as the end user is that they only appear once in the system. This ensures that all reservations are properly registered under the same customer. Otherwise, a customer would have to fill out the customer form again for each reservation, and a new customer would be created in the system.

The advantage for customers is that they don't have to enter all their information every time, as it's requested upon logging in. Customers can also view their reservations and/or invoices, or cancel or change any reservations online.

The downside is that customers have to create an account when booking. This can be an additional hurdle. They also have to remember a username and password. This last issue could be resolved by allowing users to log in with, for example, their Facebook or Google account.
