Onboarding step by step: here's how we do it
Onboarding with i-Reserve isn't a standard checklist — it's a tailored process. That said, we do value clarity. That's why we work with a fixed step-by-step plan, so you always know where you stand.
1. We receive your registration
As soon as you submit a request, we get to work. We'll contact you within a few working days to schedule the first conversation.
2. Intake meeting with a senior consultant
You'll speak with one of our senior consultants — someone who knows i-Reserve inside and out and thinks along with you. During this telephone intake, they will map out your requirements, processes, and challenges.
"What are you using now? What works and what doesn't? Which features are you looking for?" — those are the kinds of questions we'll explore together.
3. Setting up your trial environment
Within a week of the conversation, we'll set up your trial environment. This isn't an empty shell — it's immediately usable: with a sample selection of products, working features, and an initial styling setup. You'll see straight away how the system works in practice.
4. Explanation session with a senior consultant
Once your trial environment is ready, you'll receive an explanation and demonstration session from the same consultant. This is a standard part of the onboarding process — not a generic presentation, but focused on your specific setup, so you can continue independently afterwards.
5. One month to explore on your own
After that, it's over to you. You'll have 30 days' access to the trial environment to test, fine-tune, and adapt the system to your situation. Add products, adjust styling, configure rules — all with no obligations.
If you have questions or need help during this period, we're on hand. In most cases, there's no extra charge for this. Only for structural support or intensive requests will we discuss together what's appropriate.
6. Closing conversation
At the end of the month, your consultant will give you a call. We'll discuss your experiences, answer any remaining questions, and decide together whether i-Reserve is the right fit. If the answer is yes, we'll seamlessly convert your trial environment into your live environment.
Training: hands-on from the start
When you go live, you want your team to be able to hit the ground running. That's why training is a fixed part of the onboarding process.
During the explanation and implementation session, you won't just be sitting back and listening — you'll be actively involved! We don't believe in passive learning; we believe in working together.
What can you expect from a training session?
- You'll receive a basic setup of your configuration in advance
- During the session, we'll go through it together
- Your team gets started straight away with guidance
- Sessions are one hour as standard (longer is always possible)
- Online sessions have unlimited participants (though we recommend a maximum of 2–3 for clarity)
- You choose the time — all available slots are easy to book yourself.

You're also welcome to visit us at our office in Utrecht.

What does it actually cost?
