Dormakaba within i-Reserve

With a lock from Dormakaba you can set in your i-Reserve environment when your customer has access to one or more rooms. A reservation must first be paid before your customer can access the space, no problem. You can set this specific status yourself. Reservations can also be paid directly via our reservation system.

How does it work?

The moment a reservation reaches the set status, Dormakaba receives a signal. What will they see? The time of the reservation and the room(s) to which the customer needs access. Privacy is respected. Names or other GDPR sensitive information of your customer will not be passed on. Dormakaba creates a PIN code. You can have this PIN code sent to the customer by the i-Reserve reservation system.

The customer also receives an email with a link. This link can be opened when he or she is standing in front of the room. In the long term it will also be possible to combine these two emails (email with PIN code and email with link) into one email.

When your customer is at the door or locker, he or she opens the link in the email. When opening the link, you will be asked for the PIN code received. When the customer enters that code on his or her phone, the lock opens immediately. What if the customer cancels or changes the reservation? This reservation will then be immediately canceled or changed at Dormakaba.

But opening doors remotely is not the only advantage of i-Reserve. With an online reservation system you also offer your customers the opportunity to view the availability of your product online and make a reservation immediately. You can of course decide for yourself what your customer can reserve and for what price. This means your company can be reached 24/7 and customers can make a reservation when it suits them.
